I just started on Saturday. Two days down. I realized I'm in way worse shape than I thought. When did you start seeing results so I can know if it's working?

haha yeah it'll definitely kick your butt! Its still kicking mine after 2 weeks!

To answer your question, after the first week I noticed a lot of differences! Not only were my abs starting to shape up but so was everything else! Plus once you get through the 1st week, you know you can do the rest of the month! Just keep with it and your body will thank you!

Also, I'm trying to get the diet stuff figured out, as well. I'm supposed to be getting about 2400 I think, but I'm closer to 1800-1900.

I'm trying to find additional calories without blowing the lan out of whack. Any thoughts?

It's just not very feasable (or economical) for me to prepare all the food according to the nutrition plan.

Well to tell you the truth I havent been able to follow the eating plan myself! My caloric intake is right around where yours is!

Now I'm still trying to lose weight so I'll be at a deficit for awhile longer! Once I hit my weight goal I'll begin a zig-zag intake so I can start building the muscles I've lost, as well as keep the fat to a minimum!

My main diet now is mostly proteins! I try to keep my daily intake at a ratio of

Protein - 45%
Carbs - 35%
Fats - 20%

This has been working great for me!

What was your start weight and have you lost any in the 2 wks?

Start weight : 210
Current weight : 200*

*now my start weight was 2 weeks, and my current is a guess as my actual weigh-in is tonight around 6pm cst! but based on the last time I weighed myself I have a good feeling this is correct!

Good for you. I'm at 225 and want to get to 195-200.

Thanks! I've come a long way from the 265 I was a little under a year ago!

my weight goal is around 190 (i really need to start measuring body fat 5%!) then from there I'll try my best to get the ever lovin 6-pack!

How did you do on the fit test? I'm 42 and knew I was not in great shape. But I realized how far I'd fallen when I could barely do chair assisted pull-ups.

My wife and I are doing P90x together, which is great. But I've been out of shape for too long.

I find myself dragging and modifying quite a bit.

Please tell me it gets better.

well, I didnt even do the pre-test! haha I probably should have but I like to dive into things head first and work my way through it!

I've had to modify workouts as well so dont feel too bad! As long as you push yourself to the max or "Bring It" then it will get a lot better! I've been sore consistently for 2 weeks! But its the good kind of sore!

Thats awesome that you and your wife are tackling it together! It'll give you an opportunity to show off and push yourself harder!! Just remember to never get comfortable! If you arent begging for water at each break then you need to push a little harder!

15 years of chronic low back pain from being outta shape isn't helping either.

I can feel the rust coming of already in the workouts.

Not sure when I'll be able to do a divebomber pushup.

I have shoulders & arms and ab tonight.

It's all good.

I plan on tracking your progress and chiming in from time to time.
