P90X - Day 21

Alright so I'll do better on my nutrition starting now...... yeah this weekend was kind of rough but I didnt do too much damage! This whole week is supposed to be my "Rest" week of the P90x program!! Well I dont feel much like resting, so I'll be hitting the gym and continue to workout! we'll see what happens!

P90X - Day 17

So for the past week or so I've been taking creatine as part of my supplements! And today I felt the effect! Shoulders and arms was such an amazing workout! I was not only pumped up throughout the workout but I felt amazing afterwards!! Also I was getting disappointed with the fact that my weight went up... now that I think about it went up when I started the creatine (water-weight) so that makes me feel a lot better! Once I finish off my bottles of creatine I'll cycle off of it and see if the water weight comes off! Here's some pics (might not be a big difference still but I can feel it!)

P90X - Day 15

Start of the 3rd week, and I had a few disappointments!! I've come to the conclusion that I get much better results if I work out earlier in the day! So that will be my goal on the weight training days! Also I bought a new scale! Which means my weight was different than what I had weighed previously! But I'll stick with this scale for a while for accuracy! I'll also start posting up its calculations (it estimates body fat and hydration levels)! So if you check out my workout sheet (link on the side) you'll see that for chest - back that my numbers suck!! ah well! I'm stickin with it!

Hello, just a quick update! Still going strong! I've noticed some great improvements in size and my mid-section! Not sure if the pics show it though! This camera is HORRID! but until I can get a better one or find someone who has a better one.... This will have to do!

P90X - Day 9

Bad news! Today was my first (and hopefully last) skip day! Ouch! I was supposed to do Plyometrics, but I didnt get home until 9:30pm! Which is fine I still could have done it BUT my calorie intake on the day was sooooo low (less than 1000) so I had to fix up something to eat to get some good calories in!! Its strange because I ate pretty much all day and still was nowhere near my min cal intake for the day! I have to stay on top of that!! I definitely dont starve myself but its so easy just not to get enough calories! Haha I thought I'd never have that problem! Anyway, Shoulders and Arms next! I'll post up pics after the workout!

And so it starts all over again! Its getting easier to stick with it! And I have noticed some good gains! So I'm pumped! Pics still dont do me too much justice! Ah well! Enjoy!

P90X - Day 7

This is the rest day! haha yeah right! I had to mow a huge yard (we only have a push mower) and then clean up the house! So I didnt get much "rest" but what are you gonna do? Anyway, like promised I have day 7 pics! I need to get a better camera! Maybe then you'll be able to see better definition! You can tell a lot more in person!

P90X - Day 6

Kenpo was freakin awesome! I love doin fighting moves! and thats all this is! Of course I looked goofy but the hour went by so fast! it was just incredible! Good cardio for sure! I went to visit my mom this weekend but I was able to keep my eating on track! I might have drank a little wine though! haha

P90X - Day 5

Legs and Back, AND Ab Ripper X! Whew another great workout! I'm liking this program more and more each day! I thought for sure that I wouldn't make it through the legs, due to the fact I could still barley walk from Plyo on Tuesday!! But I pushed through it and it felt great!! I can already notice improvements when I do the Ab Ripper X! Which is a BIG Plus!! Since I played soccer for so long I think my legs are used to this kind of stuff, they just have to get re-acquainted with it! Anyway I'm to conceded to wait till Sunday to post pics so here's some more! Not much of a change that you can see (of course I just ate lunch when I took this)! But I feel so much better! And thats all that matters!

P90x - Day 4

Yoga X! 1 hour and 30 mins of the stuff! Man the first 1 hour is tough! I was sweating like crazy but it felt good! Then the last 30 mins or so is beautiful stretching!! The whole thing just made me feel great afterwards!

I can notice a lot of changes just 4 days into it! Maybe its my mind playing tricks but I feel like my stomach is shrinking and I'm getting better defined! These last few days are going to be hard! Not because of the exercises but because I wont be home for the weekend! So I have to find alternatives to the pull-ups and weights (Time to buy resistance bands)! I'll post up pics on Sunday (7th day)! Hopefully there will be a noticeable difference!

P90x -Day 3 (Shoulder & Arms & Ab Ripper X)

My Favorite routine so far! But its like Tony says these are the glamor spots! I unfortunately didnt get a chance to do the bonus round due to time (I had to do this on lunch cause I dont have many dumbbells at home)! In order to fit the Ab Ripper X in I had to skip it! This program is only getting better with each day! Just after Day 1 I can tell my chest is looking better and getting a nice shape! I'll probably need to do another round of p90x to get my abs showing though! I just have too much baggage to work off!(Pics pretty much look identical from Day 1 to Day 3, So I'll wait till day 7 to post the next one!)

P90x - Day 2

So I'm sure that I wont update EVERYDAY on the program but I'd figure I would talk about Plyo! I mean this thing is ridiculous! It not only works your legs like crazy but your heart and lungs!! haha I tell you, there was not a spot on my shirt that was dry! And that was after 10mins! haha! Whew this is going to be a big challenge but I'm up for it!

P90x - Day 1

HOLY CRAP!!!! I dont think I've ever worked out that hard before, and I played soccer for 12 years! Wow what a workout! I put out some pretty piss-poor numbers but I know they will only get better! I just finished day 1 and I'm freakin excited now! Day 1 is Chest and Back! Then when you think you're done... oh no you have to finish it off with the Ab Ripper X! I thought I would be able to at least keep up with it, ha that was a joke! Anyway stay tuned! I'll try to keep pics up every week of the progress!

Well I decided

I'm going to start the P90X program come Monday (7.9.2007)!! This week on vacation has reeked havoc on my body! This of course making me realize I need to change more than I thought I had! While I'm in my regular routine (of everyday life) its easy for me to watch what i eat and be good! But once I'm out of my routine.... I've been eating pretty much non-stop!! Argh!! So I have to make a more drastic change than I originally thought! I'll let you know what happens!

Vacation!

This is the view I'm looking at right now! But vacations are always hard on staying fit, I'm sure everyone knows that! Although the scale here says I'm at a great 205lbs! Wow! I'm sure its just due to a different scale but I like it ;)

It also puts a damper on my exercising! I've been able to get out and run 2 miles once this week! Argh I need to do much more than that, what with all the food I'm eating! Well Ribs are ready!

Alright so lets get to it! So far I've lost 50 lbs! A big accomplishment for someone who was becoming a slave to food! but I have a long way yet to go and I'm hoping I can get the rest of the way! And keep this blog as sort of a motivator!
