Routine is the key!

I'm still not back on track! But I'm working my way there! I realized that the main reason I did so well in the past is that I had a constant routine! I ate the same things at the same time everyday! I worked out twice a day (cardio in the morning, weights at night)... not a great life but it got me to a good point in my health! Then I failed to maintain!! It takes A LOT of hard work to lose the weight and look good, but its not hard at all to maintain... unless you just lose your routine altogether! Not trying to make excuses on why I didnt maintain, just analyzing what went wrong! Anyway I'm hovering at 217 and I'm trying to knock it back down to 200! I've managed to hit the cardio once a day but havent kept up with the weights! What happened to my motivation?

Hey man, you inspire me to get up off the chair and work out.

Are you doing the P90X thing? Or are you going to the gym?

I started off by using P90X! After I finished it, I just adapted the work out to my gym workout! P90X just really keeps you going non-stop through the workout, whereas at the gym you might take longer breaks than you need to!

Thanks for the reply! So you recommend starting out with the P90X? Then move on to working out on your own?

How's your progress? I've seen you've lost quite a bit of weight.

well P90X is pretty intense! It basically gave me the motivation and techniques to make gains on my own at the gym! So if you have a motivation problem... give p90x a shot! it helped me a lot to get into working out!!

Yeah I lost over 60 lbs! but as I've mentioned... I've gained some back! I havent been motivated much lately! haha maybe that means I need to start back up p90x!

I believe they sell it over at beachbody.com, it was a gift so I'm not sure the cost!

Yo man you need to keep your blog updated. I started P90X back in April did great for a month and fell off the wagon because I had some stuff break my routine. Now I'm back on, on day 16...Workin hard to stay on track now!
