Workout - Week 3
Well things are going great! The workout is simplistic at times... but really wears me down! My diet has been out of whack though. So i've been working on straightening that out! Also I just thought about it, these posts are kind of labeled incorrectly! These pictures will represent the end of week 2 and the start of week 3, so they are a week off! Also I got more work done on my tattoo!! Luckily it hasnt effected much of my new workout! Alright onto the pics...

New Workout - Day 1
Hello everyone! I'm getting back on track after my break. So here's the deal, I have a new workout that I'm developing. I plan to take it a month and see where things go. I obviously cant go into the details yet but I'll post my progress just like I did with P90X! I cant be on here long, so here are the pics of day 1.... yes I did pack a few pounds on haha.

Much needed break
Sorry for the long absence! I've just been taking a break from.... everything really. I got down to about 197lbs at the end of P90x. I've let loose and I'm back up to around 205lbs. I'll post up new pics soon. I've always been developing my own workout routine. Hopefully I'll see some great gains from it, and I'll show progress to everyone.

Welp good news on my actual weight. I am now weighing in consistently under 200lbs! Right around the 198 area. This is huge for me! I dont think I've been under 200lbs since 2001. I'm almost finished with P90X and let me say... its done a great deal of good. My next program will be a HIT type program...... on to the pic.

Only 11 days left! I feel great (well besides these darn allergies) and honestly I've never looked better. I already have my next program lined out, which I'll fill you in on once this program has ended. My abs arent quite where I was hoping they would be, but they are WAY better than when I started! thats for sure. Plus I know a lot has to do with my diet. While I try to eat the best I can sometimes I fail miserably. Oh well, such is life. Take Care.

Well I hate not posting regularly! and again, I'm sorry. Hopefully things will turn around and I'll get back on track with keeping you updated.
Anyway, everything is going well. I have 20 days left! Less than a month!! I cant believe it. I'm not sure if I'm going to get a 6-pack by the end of this but the progress has been incredible. Also today is the day I started losing weight 1 year ago!! It's been hard work... but WELL worth it.

P90X - Day 63
I just want to send out a prayer for all the lives lost 6 years ago today.
I've been working hard trying to get back on track with my diet. Its a hard road to get back on when you step off! But I'm doing a lot better now. You cant notice too well in the pics but my chest is really coming along nicely. Going from absolutely no muscle to what I have now is just amazing to me!
PS. If anyone out there is following my progress.... COMMENT! I want to help get people motivated, and the best way is through communication. So ask questions or just say hi!

Sorry my posts have started to span out a little longer than I wanted to. But I've been having to kick butt at work so I havent had much of a chance to update. Of course everyone knows that with work stress comes not great eating, and its no different with me. I've been keeping up with the workouts but my diet has gone a little down hill. It is tough to change that momentum but I've started to get back on track with it. I'll try to get pictures up tomorrow. Bare with me!

I'm posting this a day late so if you check the dates they'll be a little off. Anyway, I'm back to hitting the routine pretty hard and my body knows it! I havent been taking in enough protein as I should and that could explain the immense soreness I have right now..... Everywhere!! So here's a lesson to you, get as much protein as you can!! At least 1 gram per pound (you weigh).

Hello! Hope everyone had a labor day. For the past week I've laid off on my workout routine. I still kept with the program but I was starting to get a little too obsessive. So I backed off, ate bad, and tried to get my mind right. So sorry for the delay in posting but I'm back on track and will get new progress pics up in a few days.

You guessed it... no new news really! I've had a really bad week (personally) so sorry for not posting sooner. I can say that this personal issue has pushed me to the gym more and more. I get a great opportunity to get a lot of stress off my chest. So the strange thing is, my stomach is now much smaller than it used to be, yet my abs arent popping like they did... I'm not 100% concerned about this, they will come back as a get more body fat off of me. Now... onto the pic

Progress is going great and I'm almost half way through. 40 days in, its really hard for me not to just jump off and do my own thing! I've learned a lot from this program and from reseaching. But I'm gonna stick with it just to say I did! But fear not, this blog wont die after I'm finished with P90X!
In fact, I plan on making my own maintance plan afterwards... So stick with me and we'll see what can be accomplished! I'm not looking for anything short term as far as health is concerned, and hopefully I can help a few people on my way to a healthy lifestyle.

P90X - Day 38
Alright, well I've stepped it up to overdrive! My one year is coming up (i started losing weight sept 18, 2006)! So far I've lost 60lbs and have gotten a lot more defined! It feels great but I need to get definite abs before sept 18th!!! So I've changed up my diet (I'm actually eating more!) and try to do cardio 6 days a week and weight training 5 days! I only have a month so you see why I have to step it up!! Anyway thanks for the comments! On to the pics... (they always look the same! So soon I'm gonna try to spice some of them up and try to keep you entertained!)

Welp I've been sticking to the workouts pretty good! I did skip yoga last night which I'm not too happy about! Instead I ate brats and turkey burgers, drank some beer and watched pre-season football!! I swear this football season is going to kill me! haha oh well my abs are fading away :( but my stomach is still shrinking so if I keep at it, maybe step it up a bit my abs will pop a little better! I hope so....

alright first day back from my break! went well actually although I was super sore from working out on sunday (I got really bored)! I didnt do so well as far as food goes over the weekend.... well it was more the alcohol then the food I ate haha! Oh well.... abs not so great today! But hopefully in a months time they will be more predominant!

Still on my rest week! I actually havent lifted much.... my muscles told me to give them a break haha! But I have still been doing cardio and all that good stuff! Anyway more pictures! So for the past week or so I've been taking creatine as part of my supplements! And today I felt the effect! Shoulders and arms was such an amazing workout! I was not only pumped up throughout the workout but I felt amazing afterwards!! Also I was getting disappointed with the fact that my weight went up... now that I think about it went up when I started the creatine (water-weight) so that makes me feel a lot better! Once I finish off my bottles of creatine I'll cycle off of it and see if the water weight comes off! Here's some pics (might not be a big difference still but I can feel it!)

Start of the 3rd week, and I had a few disappointments!! I've come to the conclusion that I get much better results if I work out earlier in the day! So that will be my goal on the weight training days! Also I bought a new scale! Which means my weight was different than what I had weighed previously! But I'll stick with this scale for a while for accuracy! I'll also start posting up its calculations (it estimates body fat and hydration levels)! So if you check out my workout sheet (link on the side) you'll see that for chest - back that my numbers suck!! ah well! I'm stickin with it!

Bad news! Today was my first (and hopefully last) skip day! Ouch! I was supposed to do Plyometrics, but I didnt get home until 9:30pm! Which is fine I still could have done it BUT my calorie intake on the day was sooooo low (less than 1000) so I had to fix up something to eat to get some good calories in!! Its strange because I ate pretty much all day and still was nowhere near my min cal intake for the day! I have to stay on top of that!! I definitely dont starve myself but its so easy just not to get enough calories! Haha I thought I'd never have that problem! Anyway, Shoulders and Arms next! I'll post up pics after the workout!

This is the rest day! haha yeah right! I had to mow a huge yard (we only have a push mower) and then clean up the house! So I didnt get much "rest" but what are you gonna do? Anyway, like promised I have day 7 pics! I need to get a better camera! Maybe then you'll be able to see better definition! You can tell a lot more in person!

Kenpo was freakin awesome! I love doin fighting moves! and thats all this is! Of course I looked goofy but the hour went by so fast! it was just incredible! Good cardio for sure! I went to visit my mom this weekend but I was able to keep my eating on track! I might have drank a little wine though! haha

P90X - Day 5
Legs and Back, AND Ab Ripper X! Whew another great workout! I'm liking this program more and more each day! I thought for sure that I wouldn't make it through the legs, due to the fact I could still barley walk from Plyo on Tuesday!! But I pushed through it and it felt great!! I can already notice improvements when I do the Ab Ripper X! Which is a BIG Plus!! Since I played soccer for so long I think my legs are used to this kind of stuff, they just have to get re-acquainted with it! Anyway I'm to conceded to wait till Sunday to post pics so here's some more! Not much of a change that you can see (of course I just ate lunch when I took this)! But I feel so much better! And thats all that matters!


P90x - Day 4
Yoga X! 1 hour and 30 mins of the stuff! Man the first 1 hour is tough! I was sweating like crazy but it felt good! Then the last 30 mins or so is beautiful stretching!! The whole thing just made me feel great afterwards!
I can notice a lot of changes just 4 days into it! Maybe its my mind playing tricks but I feel like my stomach is shrinking and I'm getting better defined! These last few days are going to be hard! Not because of the exercises but because I wont be home for the weekend! So I have to find alternatives to the pull-ups and weights (Time to buy resistance bands)! I'll post up pics on Sunday (7th day)! Hopefully there will be a noticeable difference!
